Akuna International was created to mediate cooperation in international adoption with the People´s Republic of China. It was accredited by the Community of Madrid in 1997 and later by the Community of Castilla la Mancha in 2002.

Our top priorities are defending children´s rights, as well as fomenting and promoting the necessary mechanisms required for their advancement in accordance with the International Children´s Rights Agreement, signed i0n 1989. We act as ECAI (Entity Collaborating in International Adoption) along with the People´s Republic of China.

ü       Offer families professional post-adoptive services, including programs such as ¨Parents School¨ as well as a variety of other conferences.

ü       Promotion of Chinese Culture in compliance with the right of a child to know and understand his or her origins.

ü       Promotion and dissemination of information regarding the rights of infants and family, through conferences and training courses.
